Therefore security of wireless LAN is poses serious challenge before research community. One such serious challenge in wireless security domain is detection is rogue access points. Plenty of work has been done in detecting rogue access point in IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN. In spite of this many solutions are far from satisfactory.
